Every once in a while the Universe sneaks up behind you and gives you an almighty pat on the back! One of my earliest dreams was to work for Greenpeace (or, if that wasn't possible, the incredible Anita Roddick). Sadly, my applications to both were never successful and an entirely different career path beckoned... You can imagine how super-super-excited we are to be invited by Greenpeace Edinburgh to fly the flag for Nepal at their upcoming Edinburgh Eco Fair. It feels like Brown Owl has just awarded me a full two rows of Merit Badges for each arm! ..

Santosa First Anniversary!

Santosa celebrates a year of living serenely It was only 12 months ago that the Santosa Yoga Studio at 21 Albert Street opened its doors, yet it is already firmly established as part of the vibrant community. White Butterflys land at Santosa

Milan Rai’s White Butterflies at The Santosa Yoga Studio International artist’s installation has landed in Leith. Known as the Butterfly Man, Nepalese artist Milan Rai’s beautiful symbols of peace has been seen in dozens of places around the world from New York’s Central Park to Machu Pichu. Now his simple but powerful shapes have arrived in Edinburgh at the Santosa Yoga Studio in Leith’s Albert Street. Already in the UK, an installation of more than 3,000 butterflies has captivated audiences at the Southbank Centre, London. Santosa Sanctuary therapist Jenny White met Milan there ..
