Vajra (Dorje) & Bell

Description

The Vajre, or Dorje as it is known in Tibet, represents the thunderbolt or diamond that can destroy ignorance. It symbolises the male energy and is held in the right hand. The bell symbolises female energy and is held in the left hand. The Vajre and Bell are used in combination in many ritual ceremonies and used together are believed to lead to enlightenment.
