Yoga + Belly Dance Workshop
They compliment each other in harmonious ways, with yoga opening and conditioning the body, and the dance allowing the body to move with ease.
They both are based on balance, core strength, posture and suppleness and can help to release tension in the body and help with mental and physical wellbeing.
What to expect
The session will begin with an introduction to the teachers and an open chat about what to expect.
Poppy has completed teacher training with Inner Yoga Trust and has 15 years teaching experience as well as over 25 years practicing yoga and will guide you through a series of fundamental yoga moves preparing the body to dance.
Tamar has over 18 years of experience of training and teaching a variety of belly dance styles. The session will flow into a gentle practice of techniques allowing your body to flow freely and enjoy the dance.
The session will close with a cool down.
