David offers Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) and Embodied Movement Meditation classes.
BCST is a gentle hands-on treatment which can be profoundly beneficial for a wide range of physical, emotional and psychological health conditions.
The biodynamic nature of this work means that it is the clients’ own system that sets the pace, according to its readiness to meet, unfold or release certain patterns. Readiness is directly influenced by the level of resources available at any one time, which is the body’s way of reducing the risk of severe overwhelm.
Treatments calm the nervous system, and as a result the body can access its own healing resources, for rejuvenation, repair, reintegration and release of all that is no longer needed.
Enhanced levels of vibrancy and health result when the client is ready to unfold their own potential by deepening their sense of embodied awareness. David’s use of respectful and non-forceful touch allows those internal processes, that are ready to be met, to unfold in a safe and nurturing way. Gradually deeply held tensions and patterning are released.
This reorganisation within the client’s system allows creativity to flourish and deep insights to occur.
This holistic work embraces whatever arises on the physical, psychological and emotional levels, including trauma, from prenatal and birth influences and life experiences in general.
Craniosacral Therapy works at a deep level with your nervous system, and has been found beneficial for a wide range of conditions:
- back pain, neck and shoulder pain, sciatica
- migraines
- recovery from injuries and accidents
- anxiety, depression and PTSD & cPTSD and effects of trauma or shock generally
- birth trauma

The Embodied Movement and Meditation is offered in groups and on a 1-1 basis.
It is informed by decades of David’s personal practice and teacher training in Qi Gong, Tai Qi and other movement and meditation practices.
Combining biodynamic and biomechanical principles, the movement sessions are a fluid combination of seated, standing and floorwork that are adapted to support various levels of ability and capacity.
The meditative movement offered is also based on an understanding of the fluid body dynamics and the potential gained through craniosacral practice.
Sound and music may be used in sessions to further assist focus and deepening awareness and relaxation.
The effects of treatment and movement sessions are powerful and are mutually enhancing and resourcing.
It is for this reason that David encourages participation in embodied movement work to support the developments gained from cranio-sacral treatments and vice versa.
